2024 Kekaha Family Fun Day
KEKAHA – E Ola Mau Na Leo O Kekaha and the Kekaha Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) are inviting the public to the Kekaha Family Fun Day to celebrate Independence Day at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center park on Thursday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Kekaha Family Fun Day 2023
Kekaha Family Fun Day, Play Streets event scheduled for July 4
KEKAHA – E Ola Mau Na Leo O Kekaha and the Kekaha Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) are inviting the public to the Kekaha Family Fun Day to celebrate Independence Day at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center on Tuesday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The event will have food and craft vendors, free games, and entertainment for all.
A Play Streets event will also take place on Elepaio Road and portions of the Kekaha Neighborhood Center and Kekaha Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All activities at Play Streets are free and open to the public.
“This is our second year offering a Play Streets event in Kekaha for the Fourth of July weekend, and we are incredibly grateful to all organizations, partners, and volunteers for making it happen,” said Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami. “Getting our keiki outdoors to safely play and have fun doing physical activities sets a good foundation for healthy habits and building strong social connections with others. We hope all will join us in this family fun day on the West Side.”

Play Streets in Kekaha Family Fun Day
The first ever Play Streets event in the state will take place in Kekaha during Independence Day weekend! In partnership with E Ola Mau Na Leo O Kekaha for Kekaha Family Fun Day, a Play Streets Kaua‘i pilot will be hosted on Elepaio Road and portions of the Kekaha Neighborhood Center and Kekeha Park from 10 a.m. to noon. All activities at Play Streets are free and open to the public.
