Kekaha Family Fun Day, Play Streets event scheduled for July 4
KEKAHA – E Ola Mau Na Leo O Kekaha and the Kekaha Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) are inviting the public to the Kekaha Family Fun Day to celebrate Independence Day at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center on Tuesday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The event will have food and craft vendors, free games, and entertainment for all.
A Play Streets event will also take place on Elepaio Road and portions of the Kekaha Neighborhood Center and Kekaha Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All activities at Play Streets are free and open to the public.
“This is our second year offering a Play Streets event in Kekaha for the Fourth of July weekend, and we are incredibly grateful to all organizations, partners, and volunteers for making it happen,” said Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami. “Getting our keiki outdoors to safely play and have fun doing physical activities sets a good foundation for healthy habits and building strong social connections with others. We hope all will join us in this family fun day on the West Side.”
